eCast Corporation was founded on the principals of bringing high quality software to medical professionals. Additionally, the founders of the company believe that the products should be extremely simple to use and very inexpensive. It is with this mission in mind that the eCast Suite was created.
Now, for the very first time, providers can obtain a very powerful electronic medical record system that can be deployed and trained quickly and requires minimal changes by the physician or his/her staff. The eCast Suite features integration with billing systems, laboratories, radiology departments, and transcription companies. providers may use the eCast Template System, voice recognition, or traditional dictation to generate the chart. And all wireless tablets and PDAs are fully supported under the eCast Suite. Along with the eCast EMR product, providers may use eCast Wireless - a PDA-based system that delivers the entire medical record to the wireless Palm, PocketPC, Cell Phone, or other mobile device. With eCast, providers can generate and fax prescriptions, create orders, check lab values, see progress notes, look at alerts, and send referrals. It's a world of intelligence in the palm of the physician's hand. To top off the offering, the eCast Suite includes eCast Analyzer - an outcomes analysis product that lets providers and administrators ask simple "what-if" questions of their clinical and financial data. Never has data mining been this easy, and all made possible with the eCast Analyzer. Our newest product, eCast Mobile, allows providers to synch their PocketPC PDAs in the morning and load the PDA with their appointments, codes and templates. Then they can enter their codes and chart notes right into the PDA and even add patients on the fly. After work, they simply re-synch their PDA data and their work is instantly integrated into the eCast database and their charges downloaded to their billing system. We have also just announced eCast DocuStor - a powerful document management system that can be web based or practice-based. This system allows any practice to store thousands of documents, have them indexed by OCR technology, and then be retrievable upon demand - any time, anywhere. Soon, our next product in the eCast Suite will be announced: eCast Connect. This product is for your patients, and lets providers allow his/her patients to see selected components of their medical record, fill out time-consuming forms at home, enter patient information from home, request appointments, and many other features. Your patients will LOVE you for allowing them to participate in the management of their healthcare with the eCast Connect product.
