Listed below are "add-on" modules
for the eCast EMR. Click on a module to find out more. |
eCast Wireless lets you use your hand-held computer to view patient
charts, write prescriptions, order lab tests and procedures, and more.
This module uses a secure, HIPAA-compliant internet connection to your EMR
database in "real time". |
eCast Mobile is different from eCast Wireless. This module lets you
upload patient charts onto your hand-held computer. It is perfect for
doctors who want to take their patient charts to the hospital, nursing
home, or some other location outside of the medical practice. |
eCast Analyzer is a reporting tool. It lets you
tap into your EMR database and choose your own criteria for your report.
It takes about 4 clicks to create a report showing all patients who are
taking a drug that has been recalled by the FDA. |
eCast Connect keeps you in touch with your patients. It is basically a website where your
patients can go to request an appointment, get patient education handouts, or view lab results. It is
HIPAA-compliant because it does not use email to send information to patients. |
eCast Transcription is a transcription module that is fully integrated with the eCast EMR. Doctors
can dictate into a digital recorder, send the voice files to a transcriptionist, and see finished chart
notes inside the patient's chart. eCast can provide transcriptionists at a rate of 10 cents per line of dictation. |
